ELECTRIC BASSIST

Known by his peers and fans around the world for his unique style of playing, Bill Rich is one of the world's premier electric bassists. He began playing music at the age of seven. Bill played guitar for a few years and switched to electric bass. In his 40-plus-year career he has played with Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Miles, Paul Butterfield, John McLaughlin and Taj Mahal, to name a few.

In 2004 the Omaha native was inducted into the Nebraska Music Hall of Fame.
